Bridgwater MP Sir Ashley Fox has visited the newly refurbished PureGym Bridgwater after the gym completed a £370,000 investment to upgrade its facilities and improve access to affordable fitness for residents.
Ashley Fox was welcomed by the PureGym team for a tour of the refurbished club, where he learned more about the investment and the role the gym plays in supporting the health and wellbeing of people across Bridgwater.
The refurbishment includes a new beginner-friendly Shape zone, upgraded functional training and free weights areas, along with improvements throughout the gym designed to enhance members' experience.

"It was a pleasure to visit the newly refurbished PureGym in Bridgwater and see first-hand the investment being made in facilities for local people.
I was pleased to hear about the work the team are doing to support members of all ages and abilities, particularly those who may be taking their first steps towards a healthier lifestyle. Investments like this are good news for Bridgwater and show confidence in our town."
Ashley Fox thanked the PureGym team for the invitation and wished them every success following the refurbishment.
