Chilton Trinity School recently welcomed Bridgwater MP Sir Ashley Fox for a visit ahead of the school summer holidays, providing an opportunity to showcase the school's work and the positive environment it has created for its students.
During the visit Ashley Fox met with Headteacher Kathryn Deady and staff to hear more about the school's achievements, priorities and the support it provides for young people. He also spent time meeting students and seeing firsthand the welcoming atmosphere and learning environment across the school.
Ashley Fox said:
"It was a real pleasure to visit Chilton Trinity School and see the excellent work taking place. I was delighted to meet staff and students and hear more about the school's ambitions and the support it provides for young people.
There is a real sense of pride throughout the school, and it is clear that the staff are committed to helping every young person achieve their full potential.
I also want to wish all those awaiting their GCSE results the very best of luck. I hope their hard work and dedication are rewarded”
The visit is part of Ashley Fox’s continued engagement with schools across the Bridgwater constituency. Alongside meeting teachers and school leaders, he has been spending time with young people to discuss democracy, politics and current affairs, including a recent visit to Haygrove School's Debating Society. Ashley Fox is keen to encourage more young people to take an interest in public life and have their voices heard.
