Sir Ashley Fox MP is reminding residents that his Senior Citizens Fair will take place this week, bringing together a wide range of organisations, charities and service providers under one roof to offer advice, support and information for older people.
The free event will be held at St Mary's Church in Bridgwater on Friday 12th June from 10:00am to 1:00pm.
Following the success of a similar event in Burnham-on-Sea last year, the fair will provide an opportunity for residents to speak directly with local organisations, learn about services available in their community and enjoy refreshments in a welcoming environment.
Exhibitors attending include Age UK Somerset, Somerset Activity & Sports Partnership, Healthwatch Somerset, Mendip Mobility Bridgwater and a number of other local groups and service providers covering health, wellbeing, mobility, community activities and independent living.
