From Burnham-on-Sea's coastline and the Somerset Levels to the Quantock Hills, bustling town centres and picturesque villages, the Bridgwater constituency is full of places that make our area special.
To celebrate everything that makes our constituency unique, Bridgwater MP Sir Ashley Fox has launched the return of his popular Coast to Countryside summer photo competition.
This year entries will be shortlisted across three categories:
Coast – Beaches, rivers and coastal scenery.
Countryside – Landscapes, villages, farmland, nature and rural views.
Community – Local events, high streets, cafés, community groups, sport or the people who make our area special.
Ashley Fox MP said:
"Last year's competition showcased some fantastic photographs from across our constituency, so I'm delighted to bring it back for another summer.
We really are fortunate to live in such a beautiful and diverse part of Somerset. Whether it's a stunning landscape, your favourite local spot or a community event bringing people together, I'd love to see the places and moments that make you proud to call this area home."
How to enter
- Post your photo saying where it was taken in the comments on Ashley's Facebook competition post or share it on your own Facebook timeline using #CoastToCountryside and tag @Ashley7Fox.
- Photos must be taken somewhere within the Bridgwater constituency.
- Closing date: 5pm on Sunday 16th August.
A shortlist of the best photos will be chosen by Ashley, and the winner will be decided by public vote on Facebook.
