Digital ID Cards

The government has announced plans to introduce digital ID cards across the UK by 2029.

According to the government, digital IDs could be used for things like proving your right to work, applying for benefits, accessing childcare, or verifying your age. Employers would be legally required to check them as proof of the right to work. A public consultation on the details of the scheme is expected later this year.

I’d be grateful if you could share your views by completing my short survey below.
